Now that you’ve discovered one of Time Magazine’s best inventions of 2007 you have to decide which of the seven models to choose from. If you are buying FiveFingers
for the first time, there are only three models to consider - the Classic, Sprint and KSO.
These three models below allow you maximum versatility at the lowest price.
The Classic is the original Vibram FiveFingers model. It has a great barefoot feel and is the least expensive model, priced around $75. It features an open top design with a securing elastic band.
Many FiveFingers users claim this to be their favorite model due to its minimalist feel and ease of use. They are a great model for everyday activities including:

The The KSO - ~$85 is the best selling FiveFingers model. It has a mesh top design to "Keep Stuff Out" and a Velcro strap for a secure fit. There is also a 2mm EVA midsole for added comfort.
It has become the most popular model because of it's versatility. The KSO model is idea for:
- running
- water sports
- trekking
- travel
- fitness
- and more!

The Sprint is a combination of the KSO and Classic. It has an open top design but gives you an extremely secure fit with three adjustable straps. It also leaves out the 2mm EVA mid-sole for maximum ground feel.
As the name implies, the Sprint is great for high intensity sports. It is also great for water sports due to its secure fit. Many users find this model the most difficult to get a comfortable fit due to its multiple straps.
Bottom line: If you couldn’t decide between the KSO and Classic, the Sprint is a great compromise of both.
